WordPress CSS Columns plugin

By <daniel@redwerks.org>

Just as with our previous Post-Backgrounds Plugin we had another feature we wanted users of the theme we’re building to have access to. In this case we want it to be easy for WordPress users to use css3 columns inside their posts.

The plugin includes a [columns] short code that allows you to give a section of a post’s content a div with css3 column properties that will split the content up into multiple columns (the number being specified by the count="#" parameter). The gap between columns can also be specified using gap="...".

Right now the short code is simply implemented. We intend to wait till we’ve added a helper to the WYSIWYG editor before we give it a 1.0 version.
